SSG Bryant Cooper

April 13, 1974 - March 7, 2019

SSG Bryant Demetrius Cooper was born in Waycross GA on April 13, 1974 to Kenneth Cooper and Dorothy Butler.

Bryant received his formal education in Pearson and Waycross Ga. Bryant graduated from Waycross

High School in 1992.

Bryant dedicated his life to Christ at an early age at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Bryant enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 17. For the next 24 years, Bryant served in the United States Marine Corps, Army Reserve, and United States Army. Bryant served multiple tours of duty and retired in 2016.

On Thursday, March 7, 2019 GOD called Bryant to his heavenly home. Bryant is proceeded in death by his maternal grandfather Robert “Pee-Wee” Butler, paternal grandfather Roosevelt Williams, paternal grandmother Rachel Banks, brother Alonzo Brown, and a special aunt Connie Cooper.

Those left to cherish his beautiful funny memories are his sons Nehemiah Cooper, Antonio Tribble, Javontay Tribble, Quomain Tribble Newberry SC, fiancé Stacey Houston Newberry SC,  father Kenneth Cooper (Virginia) Pearson GA, mother Dorothy Butler Dennard Waycross GA, Grandmother Mary “Baba” Hawkins Waycross GA. Brothers Kenneth “Ken” Nixon Pearson GA, Joe Butler (Cartrina) Waycross, Kenneth Marvin Cooper Pearson GA, Anthony Dixon, Jackson Tennessee. Sisters Jamica Butler Brown (Rodney)Atlanta GA, Michelle Love (Richard) Waycross GA, Kena Cooper Atlanta GA, Godmother Betty Streeter Waycross GA, Father figure Jimmy L Clark Sr. Waycross GA, Special Aunt Willene Walker, Newberry SC and a very, very special cousin Angela White, Waycross GA;  a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
